Testing, where we actually stand
An independent lab, Alkemist Labs in Garden Grove, California, tested one lot of the finished blend (lot 2604170) in September 2026. Pesticides: a 68-compound panel, every compound below its USP <561> limit. Heavy metals: arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury, reported as measured amounts (ICP-MS), with no pass/fail requested. The same lab also measured beta- and alpha-glucans in the whole blend.
That's one lot, not every batch, and no report shows how much of the beta-glucan comes from the mushrooms themselves. Mycotoxin testing is being arranged. Our manufacturer also tests every batch before it ships; that testing isn't independent, and we don't call it third-party.

What does the label say about allergens?
Word for word, the allergen statement on the label reads: “This product is manufactured in a facility that also processes other products which may contain milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, soy, wheat, and sesame.” The creamy element is coconut milk powder (1,000 mg a scoop), not a dairy creamer. If you have a food allergy, read the full label and check with your physician or pharmacist before you try it.
Why this took almost two years
The mushrooms were the easy part.
Dosing seven mushrooms honestly is mostly arithmetic and a willingness to pay for real extract. The biotics were the hard part. Most probiotics in a drink like this are dead before you swallow them, killed by shelf life or hot water. Ours is a spore that is built to survive exactly that, next to a postbiotic that cannot be destroyed because it is already finished.
The boring ingredient people ask about
Why there's no silicon dioxide in here.
Every powder needs a flow agent. Without one, fine extract packs into a brick and a scoop stops matching what the label says.
The industry standard is silicon dioxide. It is permitted by the FDA, used in a huge range of foods and supplements, and when European regulators reviewed the evidence in 2018 they found no safety concerns at the levels actually used. If a product you like contains it, nothing here is a reason to stop taking it.
We use Organic Nu-FLOW® instead: milled organic rice hulls. It does the same job and comes from a food rather than a mineral processed for the purpose, and we would rather everything in the tub be something you could point at and name. That is a preference, not a warning.
How to actually drink it
Take one scoop first thing in the morning, with or without food, every day; a second is fine if you want it stronger. Past that, however you want:
- In your morning coffee, as the creamer. This is what most of us do. It's a white chocolate mocha, so it behaves like a flavored creamer.
- Hot water, if you'd rather it stood on its own.
- Cold water, or room temperature. Both fine. Cold just wants a few more seconds of stirring.
- Milk — dairy, oat, almond, whatever's already in your fridge.
- Into a smoothie, where it disappears completely.
And yes, you can dry scoop it. I don't recommend it, but if you do, keep water within reach.
The bit at the bottom of the cup
Some sediment is normal, not a fault. Cocoa, mushroom solids and the rice-hull flow aid are not fully water-soluble; a mix that dissolves to perfect clarity usually has less in it to settle.
Cold: shake it in a shaker bottle for ten seconds instead of stirring. Hot: use a handheld milk frother in the mug, or stir again halfway down. Never shake a hot drink in a sealed bottle; heat builds pressure and can force the lid open. And finish the last mouthful: that is real extract you paid for.
