What one scoop covers

Eight jobs, one scoop.

Focus, energy, calm, mood, gut, immune, antioxidant and metabolism. Each is a structure/function claim tied to a named ingredient at a dose printed on the label, not to the blend in general. Chaga, Poria and Tiger's Milk earn their places on centuries of documented use and the preclinical work behind it; human trials haven't caught up yet, so we make no human-outcome claim for them. The full formula and every milligram is below →

Most blends hide the dose. Here's ours.

What it's for

The milligrams behind each claim.

No proprietary blend, so every claim below can name the ingredient and the amount doing the work. The superfoods are in here for a reason, not just for flavor.

Focus & clarity

Lion's Mane 1,000 mg

Energy without the caffeine

Cordyceps 1,000 mg · caffeine-free

Calm & mood

Reishi 500 mg · Poria 500 mg (traditionally used) · cacao 500 mg

Immune & gut

Turkey Tail 500 mg · acacia 750 mg · DE111® 20 mg · BPL1® HT 100 mg

Antioxidant & metabolic

Ceylon cinnamon 500 mg · Chaga 500 mg (traditionally used)

Built to absorb

Coconut milk powder 1,000 mg (MCTs)

That leaves one ingredient without a card. Tiger's Milk, 300 mg, is in the blend and we make no benefit claim for it, because the species we use has no human trials behind it yet. Here's the full story, including which two mushrooms get sold under that name →

How long before it does anything? Nobody can honestly hand you a date, and a brand that gives you one is guessing. Research on ingredients like these is measured in weeks rather than days, and it was run on single ingredients at their own doses, not on this blend. Take it daily and judge it over weeks.

Testing, where we actually stand

We don't have a Certificate of Analysis posted yet, so treat our testing claim as sceptically as you'd treat anyone else's, that's the honest position. Every batch is tested before it ships, but testing done by the people who manufacture a product isn't independent, and we're not going to call it that. When we hold an independent, batch-specific report, it goes here and we'll name the lab that ran it.

Sourcing & certification

Every ingredient is sourced to organic, vegan, and gluten-free standards. Formal third-party certification is in progress — a 12–18 month batch-based audit we'd rather complete properly than rush.

Consult a physician or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, nursing, taking prescription medications, or managing a medical condition.

What it would cost to build yourself

Nine purchases, or one scoop.

Priced to match our doses, not to match a bottle. Here is what thirty days of the same formula costs if you buy each part separately.

  • Lion's Mane, 1,000 mg $17.48
  • Cordyceps, 1,000 mg $17.48
  • Reishi, 500 mg $13.32
  • Turkey Tail, 500 mg $13.32
  • Chaga, 500 mg $8.74
  • Poria, 500 mg $15.00
  • DE111® probiotic, 20 mg $21.92
  • BPL1® HT postbiotic, 100 mg $24.49
  • Acacia fiber, 750 mg $0.95
  • Cacao, Ceylon cinnamon, coconut milk powder $5.78
  • Total for 30 days $138.48
  • Shroombiosis, 30 days $49.99

That is $88.49 less, for the same thirty days. Per day it is $4.62 against $1.67.

And the stack above is still incomplete. It covers twelve of our thirteen ingredients, because the thirteenth cannot be bought at all: what the US market sells as “tiger milk mushroom” is a different species from the one in our tub. Which is a story in itself →

What is the best way to take it?

One scoop, first thing in the morning, with or without food, every day. Mix it into coffee, hot or cold water, milk, or a smoothie. It is caffeine-free, so the time of day is entirely up to you.

Is there caffeine in it?

No. Shroombiosis is caffeine-free by design, so it adds seven dosed mushrooms and a full pre, pro and postbiotic stack to your routine without adding caffeine on top of whatever you already drink.

Why this took almost two years

The mushrooms were the easy part.

Dosing seven mushrooms honestly is mostly arithmetic and a willingness to pay for real extract. The biotics were the hard part. Most probiotics in a drink like this are dead before you swallow them, killed by shelf life or hot water. Ours is a spore that is built to survive exactly that, next to a postbiotic that cannot be destroyed because it is already finished.

Why a probiotic survives a hot cup →

The boring ingredient people ask about

Why there's no silicon dioxide in here.

Every powder needs a flow agent. Without one, a tub of fine extract packs into a brick, the scoop stops being a real serving, and what you measure stops matching what the label says. It is unglamorous and it is not optional.

The industry standard is silicon dioxide, and we want to be straight with you about it: it is permitted by the FDA, it is used in an enormous range of foods and supplements, and when European regulators reviewed the evidence in 2018 they found no safety concerns at the levels actually used. If a product you like contains it, nothing here is a reason to stop taking it. We are not going to frighten you about an ingredient to sell you ours.

We use Organic Nu-FLOW® instead, which is milled organic rice hulls. The reason is simpler than a health argument: it does the same job, and it comes from a food rather than a mineral processed for the purpose. Given the choice between two ingredients that both work, we would rather everything in the tub be something you could point at and name. That is a preference, and we would rather call it a preference than dress it up as a warning.

It is on the label as Organic Nu-FLOW® (Organic Rice Hulls), in Other Ingredients, where you can check it.

How to actually drink it

Timing first: take it first thing in the morning, with or without food, every day. Past that, however you want. It's a mix-in, not a ritual with rules.

  • In your morning coffee, as the creamer. This is what most of us do. It's a white chocolate mocha, so it behaves like a flavored creamer — and it's the reason the heat question mattered so much to us in the first place.
  • Hot water, if you'd rather it stood on its own.
  • Cold water, or room temperature. Both fine. Cold just wants a few more seconds of stirring.
  • Milk — dairy, oat, almond, whatever's already in your fridge.
  • Into a smoothie, where it disappears completely.

And yes, you can dry scoop it, if you dare. Personally I don't recommend it. Practically, I know a fair number of people are going to do it anyway, so I'm not going to pretend otherwise — just keep water within reach.

The bit at the bottom of the cup

You will see some sediment, and that is the product behaving correctly rather than a fault. Whole-fungus extracts, acacia fiber and coconut milk powder are not fully water-soluble. A drink mix that dissolves to perfect clarity is usually mostly flavoring and maltodextrin — there is simply less in it to settle.

To keep it suspended: use a shaker bottle and shake it for a good ten seconds rather than stirring with a spoon. Warm liquid disperses it more easily than cold. If you are making it in a mug, give it a second stir halfway down and finish the last mouthful instead of leaving it — that last inch is real extract you paid for.

Breaking the Mold with Total Transparency, 7 Organic Fungi, and Tri-Biotics

The functional mushroom market is flooded with hidden proprietary blends, microscopic doses, and coffee mixes that rely on caffeine for a cheap jolt. Shroombiosis takes a radically different route. Where its prices at, it ditches the coffee beans to deliver a caffeine-free, multi-functional wellness powder featuring seven organic, dual-extracted mushrooms alongside a complete pre-, pro-, and postbiotic stack. At the current price for 30 servings, it sits at a great price point for a heavy-hitting, fully transparent multi-mushroom and gut-health stack. If you want a flexible, clean-label daily functional booster that avoids caffeine and hides nothing from the consumer, it easily outperforms standard market alternatives.

Every review we can reproduce is on this page, unedited — including the ones that say nothing useful. Judge.me collects reviews at checkout, which runs on our partner's store, so we cannot edit or select them. The Google ones sit on our Business Profile (opens in new tab), which shows 5.0 from 5 ratings — Google publishes three of those as readable reviews and keeps the other two as bare ratings, so three is what we can reprint. We would rather show a smaller number you can go and check. Reviews describe one person's own experience. They are not evidence the product does the same for anyone else, and nothing here is medical advice — talk to your own clinician, particularly if you take medication or are pregnant or nursing.

If you have tried it, would you write one? We launched a few weeks ago, so there is not much here yet, and a new brand with no reviews is a hard thing to trust — we know, because it is how we read other people's products too.

Tell them what you actually think. We would rather have an honest three stars that tells someone what to expect than a five we talked you into, and since the reviews live on our partner's store we could not delete an unflattering one if we wanted to.

Review on Judge.me (opens in new tab) Review us on Google (opens in new tab)

Judge.me opens the review form on Die Tryin Co., where your order was placed — it marks a review Verified when the email matches a real order, which is why it is the more useful of the two. Google opens our Business Profile and needs no purchase, so use it if you tried the blend without ordering it yourself. Either way, please say what you actually found.
