For athletes
The half your stack doesn't cover.
Shroombiosis is not a pre-workout. It is a caffeine-free daily blend of seven dual-extracted mushrooms, three superfoods, and a prebiotic, probiotic and postbiotic in one scoop. It sits alongside training rather than replacing anything in your stack, and every dose is printed on the label.
Let's start with what this isn't
It won't add weight to your bar. It isn't a pump product, it isn't a test booster, and there is no stimulant in it anywhere. If you came looking for something that makes today's session harder, better or longer, we don't have that and we're not going to pretend otherwise.
We're saying that first because the category is full of people who won't. The reason to read on is the opposite of a performance claim: it's what your existing stack leaves alone.
Your stack is built for the hour you train
Look at what's already in the cupboard. Protein. Creatine. A pre-workout. Maybe fish oil and a multivitamin. Every one of those is aimed at the session or at building tissue, and they're aimed well.
Now look at what you're asking your gut to do. High protein, high volume, several supplements a day, often eaten fast between other obligations. Nothing in that stack is formulated to support the system doing all that work.
That's the gap. One scoop carries acacia fiber (a prebiotic), the Bacillus subtilis DE111® probiotic, and the BPL1® HT postbiotic. Prebiotic feeds, probiotic populates, postbiotic is the finished compound. Most brands include one of the three and call it a gut product. Acacia fiber gives prebiotic support for digestion, DE111® supports healthy gut flora and immune function, and the BPL1® HT postbiotic supports gut and metabolic health.
DE111® is a spore, which is why it survives a hot drink at all, and BPL1® HT is heat-treated, so there's nothing living left to kill. That took us almost two years →
The seven mushrooms, and what each is for
Every amount is printed on the label. No proprietary blends, no "mushroom complex" hiding the arithmetic.
- Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceus) — supports memory, focus and cognitive clarity. The clinical work on cognition has used 1,000–3,000 mg a day of fruiting-body powder.
- Cordyceps — supports stamina, energy and natural endurance.
- Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) — promotes calm and supports a healthy stress response and immune health.
- Turkey Tail (Trametes versicolor) — supports gut flora and immune balance, via its beta-glucans.
- Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) — traditionally used to support immune health and vitality; preclinical studies show high antioxidant capacity.
- Poria (Wolfiporia cocos) — traditionally used to support fluid balance, digestion and a calm mood.
- Tiger's Milk (Pleurotus tuber-regium) — a beta-glucan-rich sclerotium, included for its composition.
Then three whole-food additions that earn their place: organic cacao and Ceylon cinnamon for flavour, with Ceylon cinnamon also supporting healthy glucose metabolism, and coconut milk powder for its MCTs — a fat source alongside fat-soluble compounds, because preclinical research shows MCTs can improve absorption of fat-soluble nutrients.
The short version
Forty-six seconds, if you'd rather watch.
One scoop, not nine capsules
The capsule products in this category run to nine capsules a serving, which is 270 pills a month on top of everything else you're already swallowing. Ours is one scoop into coffee, a shake, or water. It's stable hot or cold, and it tastes like white chocolate mocha because the cacao and Ceylon cinnamon are there for flavour as much as function.
That isn't a small difference dressed up as a big one. The supplement that works is the one you're still taking in month four, and pill fatigue is the most common reason a good product ends up at the back of a cupboard.
Straight answers
Before you order
Is this a pre-workout?
No. There is no caffeine and no stimulant of any kind in it. If you already take a pre-workout, this doesn't add to that load or compete with it. It's a daily blend, taken whenever suits you, most people first thing in the morning.
Will it improve my performance in the gym?
We don't claim that, and you should be sceptical of anyone in this category who does without a trial to point at. What we can tell you is what's in it, at what dose, and what the research on those ingredients actually supports. The honest pitch is total daily coverage, not a bigger lift.
Can I take it alongside protein, creatine and a pre-workout?
It's a caffeine-free food-based blend, so there's no stimulant stacking to worry about. As with anything you take daily, if you're on prescription medication or managing a health condition, run it past your pharmacist or doctor first.
How is this different from a capsule mushroom supplement?
Two things. Format: one scoop instead of nine capsules a day. And breadth: seven mushrooms rather than the three or four typical of capsule products, plus a full prebiotic, probiotic and postbiotic layer that capsule mushroom products generally don't include at all.
