Every one of these brands' main products carries caffeine: RYZE (48 mg), Everyday Dose (90 mg), Four Sigmatic (~50 mg), MUD\WTR Original (~35 mg from black tea) and MUD\WTR's newer Coffee blend (45 mg). To be fair to MUD\WTR: their Turmeric and Rest blends are genuinely 0 mg. The difference is that caffeine-free is our flagship, not a variant you have to go looking for. Every dose on the label
Read off their own packages on a Target shelf, 9 August 2026. RYZE prints one number — "2000 mg of our SUPER6™ blend", across six mushrooms, so there's no way to know how much lion's mane you're getting. Everyday Dose prints a single "Proprietary Blend — 9000 mg" that counts the coffee and the collagen inside that number, with only two mushrooms in it. Four Sigmatic's Focus bag carries a Nutrition Facts panel and lists "organic lion's mane extract, organic chaga extract" with no amount at all. MUD\WTR is the honorable exception: it prints per-mushroom amounts. Shroombiosis lists all seven at their own milligram on a Supplement Facts panel. Deciding between MUD\WTR and RYZE specifically? Seven mushrooms, 4,300 mg, each one printed
Two mushrooms (Everyday Dose), four (MUD\WTR), five (Four Sigmatic), or six (RYZE). Ours are seven, dual-extracted, totalling 4,300 mg per serving, against RYZE's stated 2,000 mg and MUD\WTR Coffee's 2,250 mg, both from their own labels. That's roughly twice the milligrams of mushroom. Milligrams tell you what you're paying for, not what it does.
Why "dual-extracted" matters: a mushroom's key compounds differ in polarity, the beta-glucans are polar and dissolve in hot water, while the triterpenes are non-polar and don't. A single water-only extract, or a raw powder, captures one and largely leaves the other behind. Dual extraction runs two complementary passes, so both families of compounds end up in the cup, and the milligrams on our label reflect the whole compound profile, not half of it.
