Founder & Formulator, Die Tryin Co. — our fulfillment partner
U.S. Army Combat Veteran · 13B Field Artillery · 10+ years in supplement formulation
Jon Klipstein is the founder and formulator of Die Tryin Co. (opens in new tab) (formerly UXO Supplements) — the veteran-owned company that helps manufacture and fulfills Shroombiosis. He's a U.S. Army combat veteran and a supplement formulator with more than a decade in the industry; he reviewed the ingredients in our formula, and he's a big part of why our blend gets made to a standard we'll put our name on.

Battle buddies, then business partners
We didn't meet in the supplement world.
Onur and Jon served together in U.S. Army Field Artillery — same unit, same job: 13B Cannon Crewmembers on the M777 howitzer, including downrange. That trust came first. So when Onur and Danielle set out to build an honest mushroom blend, Jon was the obvious person to make it real. Battle buddies, then business partners.
A decade of formulation
Jon has been formulating dietary supplements since 2015 — first under UXO Supplements, then evolving the company into Die Tryin Co. Across that decade the philosophy never changed: real, research-informed doses, transparent labels, no proprietary blends, and third-party testing on every batch — screened for microbials, heavy metals, and banned substances — in cGMP-certified manufacturing. It's clean enough for active-duty military, first responders, and drug-tested athletes. That's exactly the standard we wanted behind Shroombiosis, which is why Die Tryin Co. helps make and ship it.
The same standard we hold
Jon builds every formula around one question: would I take this before training? If the answer isn't yes, it doesn't ship. That's the same instinct behind our own rule — every milligram on the label. Honesty over hype, on both sides of the partnership.
Service beyond the uniform
Off the clock, Jon is an advocate for veteran mental health. He supports Mission 22 and organizes veteran suicide-prevention efforts, including an annual Ruck24 fundraiser and a 100-mile Memorial Day ruck. Giving back to the veteran community is built into how Die Tryin Co. operates — and it's part of why we're proud to build alongside him.
